Writer - Director

Margherita Arco is an award winning director, who writes and directs comedy and drama across TV and film. Equipped with an M.F.A. in Film from Tisch School of the Arts (2016), her work explores family dynamics, royalty, and history, often from a woman’s perspective.

To date, her work has been selected for the Hollywood Blacklist, IFP Emerging Storyteller Lab, the Production Finance Market in London, Drehbuchwerkstatt, Pitch Pool. She also was a finalist for Netflix’s Documentary Talent Fund.

Additionally, she produced a comedy feature, Fits & Starts, which premiered at SXSW in 2017.

Margherita is represented by Annabel Karouby at Agence Plan A and is a member of Bafta Connect.

Director

Anna is a Director and Shooting Producer/Director with a love of visual storytelling. Growing up on a farm in Suffolk, she started telling stories at a young age. She loves to find extraordinary in the ordinary, in both documentary and fiction, and crafting stories about kickass women with hints of dark humour. She's not afraid to ask hard questions around life, death and grief, embracing tears and laughter.

She’s worked for clients like Macmillan Cancer Support, British Airways, Universal and Apple TV+, and her work has screened at Raindance Film Festival, the BFI and the Roundhouse. In 2024 her work will screen at a range of festivals including BIFA qualifying Crystal Palace Film Festival.

Finalist of the Netflix Documentary Talent Fund. Selected for BAFTA Connect, Associate member of Directors UK.
